🔒 The short version
Your tool input (regex, JSON, CSV, invoices, etc.) stays in your browser — it's never sent to our servers unless you explicitly click Save on a Pro feature. We only store what's needed for your account and subscription.
This Privacy Policy explains what information DevTools by Hakeemify ("DevTools", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Account data: if you register, we collect your name, email, and a hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text. Payment data: we do not store credit card numbers. Payments are processed by AamarPay (Bangladesh) or Lemon Squeezy/Stripe (international) — see their respective privacy policies for how they handle payment data. Saved content: if you use a Pro "Save" feature, the content you explicitly save (regex patterns, cron expressions, JSON snippets, invoices) is stored in our database, associated with your account. Local browser storage: recently used tools and theme preference are stored in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted to our servers.
Tool input is never transmitted to our servers by default. Your regex patterns, test text, JSON data, CSV files, invoice details, cron expressions, and API test requests are all processed entirely within your browser. This data only reaches our servers if you explicitly click a "Save" button in a Pro-enabled tool.
We use account data to authenticate you and manage your subscription. We use saved content solely to display it back to you when you're logged in. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies: Supabase (database hosting), AamarPay (Bangladesh payment processing), Lemon Squeezy and Stripe (international payment processing), Hostinger (application hosting), Brevo (transactional email, if enabled).
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in (JWT-based). We use browser localStorage for non-sensitive preferences: recently visited tools and light/dark theme choice. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Account data is retained until you delete your account. Saved Pro content is retained until you delete it individually or delete your account. If your Pro subscription expires, saved data is preserved but inaccessible until you resubscribe.
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Database access is protected with Row Level Security (RLS) policies. All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS. Saved data is only accessible via authenticated API routes tied to your account.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us via hakeemify.com/contact. You can delete individual saved items yourself from your Dashboard.
DevTools is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date below.
